have to lose the cop tailing you (Miami/Day).

(Miami/Day)
Car Chases->Chase 2
>>Pre-recorded chase, cops pursuing player car
(Miami/Night/Raining/Lightning)
Performance Tips:
If the Demo is running slow or choppy, try going into "Options" from
the Main Title Screen, select "Detail" and then try turning off some
of the Graphic options listed below.
Options->Detail
>>A whole menu of detail options, allowing the user to reduce
the polygon count, transparency effects and/or level of
real-time lighting to optimize the performance of the game
for a given machine.
>Shadows (Off/Low/Full)
>>Low - has no subdivision of polygon used for car shadow so
it will sort poorly on curbs
>Smoke (On/Off)
>Debris (On/Off)
>>Currently debris production is bugged so is intermittently
displayed
>Lensflare (On/Off)
>LightFlares (On/Off)
>Rear view Mirror (On/Off)
>Mirror Viewing Distance (sliding bar)
>Pedestrian Density (sliding bar)
>>Currently, Pedestrians have been disabled from the game
>Night Brightness (Sliding bar)
>Shiny Cars (On/Off)
>>Environment mapping on cars nearly doubles the polygon count
on a given car
>Colored Cars (On/Off)
>>Some cards do not have palette support.
>Tire Tracks (Off/flat/full)
>>Full is textured, flat just colored
>Real-time lighting (Player/Full/Ultra)
>>Real-time lighting is applied to street lights/player car
head lights/police flashing lights.
Ultra applies all these all the way up to the maximum
viewing/clipping distances
>Overlap map (On/Off)
>Fog (On/Off)
>>A fogging effect is visible in some UnderCover Missions when
using the Glide drivers. This option would disable that.
>Transparent water (On/Off)
In Additional to these the following are available in-game from the PAUSED Menu.
>Sound Setup->Effects/Music/Doppler Effect (On/Off)
>Gfx detail->MaxFrameRate (Off/10fps/12fps/16fps/25fps/50fps/Auto)
>>Auto, activates interpolation in which the game will skip
displaying frames to maintain the 50 fps game speed.
